Date night with the hubby. We haven't had a cheeseboard in quite a while here. It was lovely. Seems like they've upped the quality with more complimentary additions including a yummy pimento cheese that's got a nice kick.

I went to lunch with my sister who invited me, and was so pleased. The food was tasty and veggies were good and not bland! The dessert was yummy! The vibe was fab and there are seats outside and wine shop attached, and you can purchase cheese and other items and I did! Ricky and Spencer were Awesome and so friendly! I will be going back!!

The service by Jason was excellent! Gave great recommendations on a delicious late lunch! He was making a yummy blueberry mojito for another table, it looked so pretty I had to order one. It tasted sweet and refreshing. The grown up half grilled cheese with bacon was good. The tomato soup and side salad was even better. Cute ambiance and good wine selection.

Had a great lunch here! Loved the "pasture"-themed patio & there was plenty of space. The service was fantastic & our waitress (also named Izzy) was super knowledgeable on the menu & came back super often! We got to try the entire 20th anniversary menu so here's the review on that: - aged to perfection pairing: the Wisconsin cheddar was tasty & sharp, the port wine brought me back to my recent trip to Portugal - first flight: loved being able to try a red, white & Prosecco with all the cheese types from the restaurant - apple & cheddar tini: very strong! But good & apple/cheddar is a nice pairing - gjetost & banana melt sandwich: very interesting, but intriguing combo of banana, bacon & gjetost cheese. Super savory & rich with the boldness of the PB against the bacon flavor - lobster mac: loved the chunks of lobster & the bread crumb toppings in a super cheesy Mac & cheese - grasshopper parfait: if you turned a thin mint into a parfait - this would be it! The chocolate pudding was a fun contrast against the minty marshmallow fluff Other menu items tried: - fried cheese curds: so crispy & loved both the sauces for dipping (flavorful garlic aioli & marinara sauce) - marinated chèvre: was so surprised by the presentation & loved how creamy the chèvre was to spread it against crostini. The oil was also great for dipping - black truffle gnocchi: super creamy with a strong truffle flavor & the serving of ricotta dumplings was large - the Brie & pearscuitto: one of my favorite dishes! The pear slices & Brie reminded me of a charcuterie board but in a sandwich! The honey dipping sauce was also a great addition to the flavor - chocolate mousse: soo rich & fluffy, definitely the best ending to a meal as a chocolate-lover

This is a great spot in Del Ray. I worked at Cheestique when it first opened in 2004 and am impressed with how much this shop has grown. The owner Jill is passionate about cheese, and has grown this tiny cheese shop into a major DC business. My family stopped by to get some cheese and stayed to get some dinner. My partner loved the grown up mac n' cheese. I ordered the Cheesetique cheesesteak which was so delcious. It was steak, with tellegio on a delicious roll with a side salad. Our kids enjoyed the mac n' cheese and grilled cheese options while we loved the outdoor seating and the tasty wine selection. My husband got a glass of saugvinon blanc and I had a pinot noir from oregeon (a region that i typically don't love but enjoyed this particular sample). We truly enjoyed our time here. It's a great neighborhood spot and would love to come back again.

Stopped in for lunch to this quaint bistro. Wonderful atmosphere with cheese and wine shop attached. Service was prompt and with regular checks on the table to ensure everything was in good order. Definitely recommend coming here and to save room for dessert! Do try the rosemary chips, they are a unique mad tasty addition to any sandwich.

This is a very cute and friendly restaurant featuring cheese specialties in the Del Ray section of Alexandria. Our server was friendly, the food was mouthwatering, and the ambiance was super cozy. Definitely a high end local bar/restaurant. When your check arrived they even give you a free dish of chocolate shavings which was unique touch! Only one star off because the price point was high in my opinion for the quantity of the food. My pasta dish was delicious and very rich, but kind of small. The wine pairings were excellent.

Came here for brunch and would recommend this place. I started with a charcuterie board and was able to pick my cheese and meat. The board was good; however, I do believe they left the chocolates off the board mistakenly as it was added to my to-go bag. Also, I wish I was seated at a larger table as the board and the food couldn't be accommodated on the small square-sized tables in the restaurant. For my entree, I got the pancakes with bacon. The pancakes were just ok. I was expecting a little more. I wish I was able to order a side of eggs, but they didn't have that as an option. The waiter was patient and friendly. Connected to the restaurant is a store where you can purchase wine and charcuterie items, to make your board.

Pretty good, probably would come back but didn't "wow" me. So I came here with my friend and also had my toddler in tow. The had a kids menu and brought water with a straw for him so yay. My kid woofed down the kids Mac n cheese so he liked that, haha! I ordered the tique cheesesteak. Maybe I'm Not a fan of the type of cheese on it but it was just ok. It wasn't the kind of thing that was so good I would order again. So it was fine but if I came back I'd order something else. The French onion soup looked tasty and I would love to try that next time. Service was good and server friendly. I did think the food was slightly overpriced, IMO.
